Amy Dryman has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in research and development.

Dr. Dryman is best noted for her leadership abilities in the scientific field which has resulted in professional employment with organizations such as Pfizer, Inc. and Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health (now Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health). She first attended Yale University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 1981. She continued her education at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health to receive a Doctor of Science in 1987. She accepted a research associate position at the institution upon graduating. In 1993, she began consulting for Pfizer, Inc., and she quickly became a project leader within the company. In 1999, her work was again recognized within the company and she accepted the role of assistant director. In 2001, she became a manager and remained in this role until 2004.

As an epidemiologic researcher in public health, Dr. Dryman contributed to improving the understanding of risk factors for mental disorders under study. She co-authored research papers that were published in professional journals. Dr. Dryman also presented first-author research findings at professional meetings, such as the World Psychiatric Association Section of Epidemiology and Community Psychiatry.

To continue developing professionally, Dr. Dryman pursues continuing education opportunities and maintains an affiliation with a number of professional organizations.
