With more than 35 years of professional experience, Dr. Sajjadi has flourished as a professor of theoretical fluid mechanics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University since 2010, for which he served as the director of research from 2010 to 2017 and a professor and the chair of mathematics from 2005 to 2010. Prior to obtaining these roles, he excelled as a professor at CHL Stennis Space Center from 2001 to 2005, a secretary and member of ERCOFTAC from 1994 to 2002 and a senior research fellow at the University of California San Diego from 1996 to 2003. From 1991 to 2000, Dr. Sajjadi worked as the director of computational fluid dynamics and turbulence at the University of Salford, and he was active as a research associate with the Manchester Institute of Science and Technology.
Dr. Sajjadi previously completed a research fellowship with Cranfield Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1989, and he garnered valuable experience with Coventry University as a research assistant from 1985 to 1988 and a lecturer since 1984. Earlier in his career, he was a research scientist with the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at the Mathematics Institute of the University of Oxford from 1983 to 1984. Dr. Sajjadi notably earned a Doctor of Science from the University of Salford, a Doctor of Science from Cambridge University, and a Doctor of Philosophy and Bachelor of Science from Coventry University.
