From 2007 to 2013, he prospered as a residential manager for Harvey Clayton, LLC, an entity holding gold properties in Nevada and California and controlling multiple lode properties in the high-grade French Gulch Deadwood gold district of northern California that has produced over one million ounces of gold.
Earlier, Mr. Dilles obtained a Master of Science in economic geology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks in 1984. His professional memberships include the Geological Society of America and the Geological Society of Nevada. After harboring an interest in rocks and minerals from a young age, Mr. Dilles took geology courses in college and went on to work in the industry while attending graduate school while studying for his master’s degree. He settled down in Nevada as an exploration geologist and later spent a few years as a geologist in South America. He considers his most notable achievement leading a project that found a mining deposit near Eureka, Nevada which was called Archimedes. In the coming years, he is looking forward to retirement and world travel with his wife Jeannette.
