Prior to these positions, he was active as a representative for nHANCE driven by YoYo Technology in 2019, a veterinary technology and anatomy and physiology instructor at Stautzenberger College from 2017 to 2019, an assistant professor at the University of Louisville from 2008 to 2010 and a research assistant professor at the Washington University School of Medicine from 2006 to 2008. Previously, he served as an assistant professor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences from 1998 to 2006, an assistant professor at Eastern Michigan University from 1997 to 1998 and a post-master’s human research technician at the Washington University School of Medicine from 1991 to 1992. Dr. Lambert began his career as a post-master’s principal investigator at the University of Aberdeen from 1990 to 1991.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Lambert pursued an education at the University of Toledo, earning a BE in human performance, cum laude, in 1988. He continued his academic efforts at Ball State University, from which he obtained a Master of Arts in exercise physiology in 1990. Following these accomplishments, Dr. Lambert concluded his studies with a Doctor of Philosophy in health and physical education at the University of Toledo in 1997.
Beyond his responsibilities within the field, Dr. Lambert has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. From 2015 to 2019, he contributed to USA Wrestling as a certified sports official. He has been additionally affiliated with the USA Wrestling Officials Association, the International Network of Wrestling Researchers and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Lambert found success with his written works as well, including as the author for “Physiology and Nutrition for Amateur Wrestling” for Taylor & Francis and CRC Press in 2020 as well as more than 70 published articles for peer-reviewed journals.
In light of his exceptional undertakings, Dr. Lambert has accrued several accolades throughout his impressive career. He was notably recognized as the Student of the Year by the Midwest American College of Sports Medicine. He was likewise presented with two grants from the National Institutes of Health, which he cites as the highlight of his career.
