Ralph Jim Suarez, Center for Ethics in Free Enterprise Fellow at Global Academy Online, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the fields of quality assurance and research.
Mr. Suarez has built a diverse career that spans five decades of quality experience. Beginning in 1975, he served as a submariner the U.S. Navy Reserve, the Navy and the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, earning numerous awards and receiving honorable discharges from each branch.
Following the conclusion of his military service, Mr. Suarez worked as an electronic integrated systems repair inspector at the weapons repair department in the Department of Defense Refit Facility from 1988 to 1994. He subsequently served as president of A Touch of Class Services from 1996 until 2001. Moreover, Mr. Suarez since 1995 has garnered expertise as an associate director and fellow with the Center for Ethics in Free Enterprise, an arm of Global Academy Online, and as president of Cambrian Enterprises, an antiques and jewelry design and sales company.
Mr. Suarez began a broad journey in higher education by earning a certificate in electrical and electronics engineering from Tidewater Community College in 1983. He subsequently obtained an associate’s degree from Columbia University in 1996, a bachelor’s degree in international business from the University of North Florida in 2001, and a bachelor’s degree at Excelsior College in 2002.
Long dedicated to serving his community, Mr. Suarez has served on the Nassau County Code Enforcement Board and the Metropolitan Jacksonville Area HIV Health Services Planning Council.
