He subsequently excelled as IT manager of distributed systems from 2000 to 2009 with Walt Disney World in Florida, where he was a five-time Employee of the Year, and as an IT management consultant with Strategic Staffing Solutions from 2009 to 2012. Mr. Folk managed IT in warehouse systems for Academy Sports + Outdoors, a leading sporting goods chain, from 2012 to 2016, and director of software development with MedData from 2017 to 2019.
Since 2019, Mr. Folk has prospered as IT director with CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain company in both freight management and contract logistics, and he has also provided superior service with IT Management Consulting since 2016. He attributes his success to his desire to stay on top of the latest developments, especially in the world of information technology, in which the development is rapid and constantly changing. In the coming years, Mr. Folk plans on doing additional consulting work to continue to share his knowledge in the field, as well as enjoying a well-deserved retirement.
