With several decades of experience to his credit, Dr. Khademi has cultivated a career of excellence in the fields of science. Specializing in research and development (R&D), he has operated as the owner, advisor, consultant and manager for ACE Biotex USA since 2016, where he concurrently serves as the R&D director and lead scientist and researcher. The advising company is well-regarded for assisting the R&D departments of biopharmaceutical companies and other brands in the biotechnology sector throughout the United States and Canada. Adjacent to his leadership positions, Dr. Khademi has also excelled as a postdoctoral researcher in pharmaceutical biotechnology with PurMabiologics since 2019, and he has been a research grant proposal writer since 2014.
Prior to his current appointments, Dr. Khademi served as a postdoctoral researcher at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, from 2014 to 2016. Furthermore, he was the founder, chief executive officer and director for pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and marketing for Pharmacosmetic International (PCI) Trade from 2008 to 2012. At the onset of his career, he was the lead scientist on a semi-industrial scale research project for microbial biotechnology at the Iran University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2001. As part of his dedication to his profession, Dr. Khademi is also a former member of the American Biotechnology Association.
Before beginning his career, Dr. Khademi pursued a higher education at the Islamic Azad University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in medical microbiology and bacteriology in 1997 and a Master of Science in microbial biotechnology and enzyme technology in 1998. After formally entering his field, he returned to his alma mater to achieve a Doctor of Philosophy in microbial biotechnology in 2013. In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Khademi has completed a wealth of postdoctoral research, and he holds several pertinent certifications, including in international trade, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs and clinical research.
Dr. Khademi is also well-regarded for his scholarly output, having published several papers and presented at various speaking engagements over the course of his career. In light of his professional accomplishments, he was honored with both a Coach Award and a Research Award during his time in Germany. Accounting for his success, he attributes many of his achievements to his dedicated work ethic and vast array of connections in the international scientific community.
