With more than 15 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Dodson has excelled as the lead medical laboratory technologist with Verici DX since 2021. Prior to this position, she served as a lead special analyst in molecular genomics with Lifetime Sciences from 2017 to 2021, an adjunct instructor of biology at Nashville State Community College from 2017 to 2020, a technical supervisor with Resolve Molecular Diagnostics from 2016 to 2017 and an associate genomic scientist with MyGenetx in 2016. She was previously active with Asperio Laboratories as a pharmacogenomic technician in 2014 and a pharmacogenomic technical supervisor from 2014 to 2016. Ms. Dodson began her career as a core research assistant with the Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2007 to 2014.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Dodson pursued an education at Middle Tennessee State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in animal biology and general chemistry in 2002 and a Master of Science in cellular and molecular biology in 2006. She subsequently obtained her certifications in Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments, as a special analyst in molecular biology and laboratory manager by the American Society for Clinical Pathology, a medical laboratory professional by the Tennessee Department of Health, and in medical devices QMS by Velocity 360 USA Training. Attributing her success to her willingness to constantly learn and expand her knowledge and skills outside of her field, she is incredibly proud to utilize her expertise to improve medical outcomes for patients, especially after transitioning to a clinical setting in her career in pharmacogenomics. Looking toward the future, Ms. Dodson hopes to continue advancing in her career, complete her laboratory supervisor certification, and dedicate more time to her happy and healthy family.
