Lynn R. Bobey, self-employed IVD quality medical device consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of medical science.
With more than 30 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Bobey has cultivated a fulfilling career as a medical scientist. Specializing in quality leadership in the medical device industry, she recently began her latest endeavors as a self-employed IVD quality medical device consultant in 2023. Prior to her current appointment, she was the quality associate director of oncology at Natera Inc. from 2020 to 2023. Additionally, from 2018 to 2020, Ms. Bobey was the senior validation manager at the Talis Biomedical Corporation, and between 2010 and 2018, she worked with Beckman Coulter as a staff quality assurance scientist. At the onset of her career, she was a research assistant at the Irwin Memorial Blood Bank from between 1988 and 1989.
Adjacent to her primary endeavors in the fields of science, Ms. Bobey also remains dedicated to her ambitions as a musician, having performed and created music throughout her career. Recently, she began Morro Canyon, a band she formed alongside Dana Jae that features the hit songs “Middleground,” “Dark Days,” and “Where He Was.” As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Bobey also pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Science in microbiology at California Polytechnic State University in 1988. Ever committed to her professional efforts, she also remains affiliated with the Centers of Spiritual Living. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to her mother, who always served as a positive influence in her life. In the coming years, Ms. Bobey looks forward to continuing her musical pursuits, and she hopes to attain a leadership role in the field of oncology.
