Before embarking on his vocational journey in 1978, Mr. Broekstra pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Arts in geology at Hope College in 1975. He would ultimately achieve a Master of Science in geophysical sciences, geology and earth science at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1978. Well-regarded for his experience, he has also offered his intellect in the publication of several scholarly papers pertaining to his work in the field.
