Since 2005, Mr. Vaquerizo has served as the president and founder of Advanced Simulation Research Inc. In this role, he provides simulation solutions for private companies and the government. Mr. Vaquerizo works to make new business contacts, find new opportunities and pursue new technologies. Prior to this position, he was the vice president of engineering research and chief scientist with Quantum3D from 2002 to 2005. From 1993 to 2002, he garnered experience as the president and founder of Soft Reality Inc. Mr. Vaquerizo began his career as a real-time systems engineer with General Electric Aviation from 1982 to 1991.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Vaquerizo attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical engineering and computer graphics in 1984. In 1985, he graduated from the same institution with a Bachelor of Science in computer science. For his professional accomplishments, he received a Small Business Award from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration in 2000. To keep abreast of his career, Mr. Vaquerizo maintains affiliation with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
