With years of experience to her credit, Ms. Groh has excelled as a senior associate quality control scientist for data review with MilliporeSigma since 2014. Prior to this position, she was active as an analytical chemist with Cambridge Major Laboratories from 2012 to 2014. She previously served with Aldrich Chemical as a production shift chemist from 2007 to 2009, a chemist from 2007 to 2009, and a chemist for quality control from 2009 to 2012. She began her career as an intern with the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory in 2006. Notably, Ms. Groh is incredibly proud of becoming the main contact for implementing green solvents and renewable carbon levels, a key sustainability initiative, within the QC.
To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Groh pursued an education at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry in 2007. Following this accomplishment, she obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in 2022. Drawn to biology and chemistry at an early age, she attributes her success to the availability of both peer-level and supervisory individuals who have been open to direct discussions, as she values honesty about her strengths and areas for improvement. In the coming years, Ms. Groh hopes to advance into an administrative role, in which she could potentially lead the clearing chemist team or become a prominent figure in her laboratory.
