With many years of experience to his credit, Mr. Lee has excelled as a doctor of law and scientific advisor for Kershaw Talley Barlow since 2018 as well as an academic instructor for iLearn World, part of USA International Solution, LLC, since 2021. Prior to these positions, he was active as a patient safety fellow with the VA National Center for Patient Safety from 2015 to 2016, a laboratory instructor and teaching assistant with The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy & Clinical Practice at Dartmouth College in 2016, a lead consultant with Crimson Consulting in 2017, and a public health law intern with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2017 to 2018. He previously served as a research assistant in the department of biology at Duke University from 2006 to 2008, a herbarium assistant in the Duke Cryptogamic Herbarium at Duke University from 2007 to 2008, a laboratory technician at the Yale DNA Analysis Facility on Science Hill from 2008 to 2009, and a research assistant at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 2010 to 2012. Mr. Lee began his career as a laboratory assistant in the department of biology at Duke University from 2005 to 2006 before working as a food safety and security intern at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University in 2006.

To support his professional ambitions, Mr. Lee pursued an education at Duke University, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in cell and molecular biology with a minor in chemistry in 2008. He continued his academic efforts with a Master of Science in chronic disease epidemiology at Yale University in 2009. Following these accomplishments, Mr. Lee concluded his studies at Emory University in 2019, graduating with a Doctor of Law, with Honors, from the School of Law.

Mr. Lee attributes his success to the support of his family, as they instilled integrity within him. He was drawn to the field of law after utilizing scientific data to help with legal and policy decisions in relation to veteran affairs. Notably placing first in Florida’s most competitive high school-level piano competition, he is incredibly proud of having his research published in the Journal of Nursing Care Quality and his contributions to the scientific leadership committee in the litigation of a case linking acetaminophen to ADHD. In the coming years, Mr. Lee hopes to become more integrated into the professional epidemiology network and more involved in activities among academics.
