He began his involvement with the same as a professional research assistant from 2022 to 2023. At the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine, he served as a senior research assistant in medicine from 2009 to 2021. He worked as a GPC service specialist at Tosoh Bioscience LLC from 2021 to 2022.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Barros pursued an education at Colorado State University Pueblo where he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology in 2006. Beyond his responsibilities within the field, he has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his professional circles. He was featured in Millennium Magazine. In light of his impressive undertakings, he has accrued several accolades throughout his career. He has applied for multiple patents, including one in polymer chemistry, and was selected for inclusion in Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
In the immediate future, Mr. Barros intends to expand his knowledge and expertise in his current position over the next five years. His goals include gaining a deeper understanding of metabolism studies and related areas, as well as learn from his respected mentors, Ed Melanson and Seth Creasy. With a commitment to ongoing learning, he is dedicated to becoming a true expert in his field.
