Mike F. Donoghue, MBA, Lead Member of the Technical Staff for AT&T Mobility at AT&T, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in communications.
With decades of experience to his credit, Mr. Donoghue has excelled as the lead member of the technical staff for AT&T Mobility, a subdivision of AT&T, since 2013. Prior to this position, he was active as a network architect for AT&T from 1999 to 2013. Mr. Donoghue began his career working for IBM between 1990 and 1999, during which time he notably helped establish the IBM Information Network, a global initiative aimed at constructing lease line connections to connect their offices around the globe.
Before embarking on his professional path, Mr. Donoghue pursued an education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry in 1988. He concluded his studies at the University of South Florida in 1990, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in management information systems. In addition to these academic accomplishments, Mr. Donoghue obtained his certification as an internet expert by Cisco and a Microsoft server by Novell Network.
Beyond his primary responsibilities within the field, Mr. Donoghue remains associated with various organizations in relation to his areas of expertise. He has contributed to his community through his affiliation with Goodwill, the Metropolitan Ministries in Tampa, and his local animal shelter. Mr. Donoghue has also supported Wounded Warriors and Metropolitan Energy over the years.
Mr. Donoghue attributes his success to the remarkable teamwork that he has established with his colleagues, as their collective efforts in sharing information and helping each other troubleshoot ensures seamless service. Among the many highlights of his career, he is incredibly proud of his longevity in a volatile industry, as it is a testament to his exemplary skills, dedication and work ethic. Looking toward the future, Mr. Donoghue is committed to remaining with AT&T for the coming years, as he gains immense satisfaction from his present position, while contemplating his eventual retirement.
