With more than 15 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Arthur has excelled as the founder and chairman of innovation and scientific discovery entrepreneurship with PolyRegen Biosciences since 2022. In these positions, he designs new protocols for stem cell therapies that allow them to optimize their products, recruits and structures clinical studies with different groups, consults with physicians, and offers his expertise as a keynote speaker at various conferences and engagements. Dr. Arthur was previously active as the founder and chief executive officer for Decision Genetics Inc. from 2018 to 2022 and the co-founder, chief operations officer, and chief science officer for GOAL Therapeutics from 2020 to 2023.
Between 2014 and 2020, Dr. Arthur served as the chief scientific officer for HealthByDNA. During this time, he additionally worked as the president and chief executive officer for PONZ LLC from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Arthur began his career in his field with Ventis Partners, with which he was appointed as the senior director of global life sciences from 2007 to 2009 and the vice president from 2007 to 2019.
Before embarking on his professional path, Dr. Arthur pursued an education at St. Olaf College, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, chemistry and biology in 1984. After completing a practical traineeship in medical basic science and clinical research at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he continued his academic efforts with a Master of Science in applied mathematics at New York University in 1992. Following these accomplishments, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in molecular genetics and behavioral neuroscience at the University of Zurich in 1998. Dr. Arthur concluded his studies at The University of Pennsylvania in 2008, graduating from The Wharton School with a master’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in technology management.
Beyond his primary responsibilities, Dr. Arthur has participated in numerous endeavors outside of his immediate circles. As a volunteer, he has contributed to a number of charities benefitting his community. He has also found success with his written works, having authored multiple articles published in professional journals. Dr. Arthur has been additionally affiliated with such organizations as The American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians, The Mathematical Association of America, The Genetics Society of America, The Alliance for Regenerative Medicine, and The American Association of Tissue Banks, the latter of which further appointed him as a council member.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Dr. Arthur has accrued several accolades throughout his career. Notably, he was presented with scholarships for mathematics from both The National Science Foundation and The Swiss National Foundation. Dr. Arthur has attributed his success to the influence of his amazing parents and wonderful friends as well as his steadfast faith in God.
Driven by a passion for regenerative medicine, Dr. Arthur was drawn to his present post after working for over a decade in different capacities, including teaching and training others within his field. Among his many stellar achievements, he is incredibly proud of founding his companies and conducting research that addresses practical medical problems that people face on a daily basis. Looking toward the future, Dr. Arthur hopes to shift the practice of medicine to focus on prediction and prevention as opposed to diagnosis and treatment by incorporating artificial intelligence and quantum computing into the healthcare system, which is the principle of his upcoming book.
