Additionally, she holds a certificate in clinical development, good clinical practice, good laboratory practice, good manufacturing practice, and regulatory affairs from San Francisco State University, and is a recipient of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Scholarship.
Reflecting on her path, Dr. Ravi recalls her eagerness to leave academia after completing her PhD, which led her to venture into the business world by taking on a role in startup development. This position allowed her to stay connected with her scientific roots, as much of her time was spent writing research proposals. She then transitioned into project management, successfully applying her scientific expertise to a new field. Her adaptability and drive ultimately paved the way for her specialization in biomarkers, where she found the perfect blend of her passion for science and a dynamic. She attributes her success to hard work and the sacrifices her parents made to provide a proper education for her and her brother. In the coming years, she aims to build a revolutionary medicine department with a strong team and a well-functioning biomarker operation. Additionally, she aspires to make scientific concepts more accessible to young children to help foster a love for science from an early age.
