Ian Vincent Limbaga, director of design and user experience (UX) at Inovalon, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in digital media.

With over two decades of experience, Mr. Limbaga has built a successful career in digital media and health technology, specializing in digital product design and short documentary films. Since 2023, he has excelled as the director of UX at Inovalon, where he is responsible for designing user interfaces for the company’s products. His team handles the design of software solutions that generate the highest revenue and profit margins for the company, ensuring that these products meet user needs and market demands. Additionally, he leads a team of three and manages UX research by interviewing stakeholders to design products that are both functional and desirable for customers. He has also been a guest instructor at Stevens Institute of Technology since 2019, where he shares his expertise in digital media and design. In the same year, he founded Fighting Bear Visuals, where he serves as owner and chief story producer, focusing on creating compelling narratives through short documentaries. 

Mr. Limbaga’s experience also comprises of senior principal of UX design strategy at Inovalon from 2020 to 2023, practice design lead at InsightsGen from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, and data analyst at TD Ameritrade, also in 2020. He served as principal for North America at IAC Partners in 2019, design thinking strategist and visual facilitator at Guardian Life in 2018, and visual design lead at DXD Partners from 2017 to 2018. His tenure at L’Oréal includes director of HR information services and HR data analytics from 2016 to 2018, director of learning technology and digital transformation from 2014 to 2016, manager of HR information systems from 2008 to 2014, and senior systems analyst from 2006 to 2008, as well as business analyst at the American Red Cross from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, he holds memberships with the American Photographic Artists and the American Society of Media Photographers and serves as an advisory council member at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, volunteers with the American Red Cross, and contributes to local charities in New Rochelle.

Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Limbaga earned a Bachelor of Science in marine sciences from the University of the Philippines in 1999 and pursued film documentary, cinema, and video studies at the New York Film Academy. In the coming years, he aims to expand his business and continue advancing in the field of design. He has several ongoing technology-based experiments and is gradually growing his business to achieve financial stability and freedom, with a focus on providing for his family in the Philippines. Additionally, he aspires to work for Pixar Animation and is dedicated to elevating the design practice within his current organization. He hopes to leverage that experience to rekindle his entrepreneurial spirit by launching his own design consulting agency. Alongside his professional ambitions, he also dreams of hosting an art gallery exhibition that explores his Filipino roots, merging his cultural heritage with his creative work.
