Mr. German has established a successful career in beauty, cosmetics, and entertainment. He currently excels as the founder, owner, and cosmetic chemist of Evodia Fragrances, established in 2020, and serves as an insurance processing associate at Nebraska Medicine, a position he has held since 2019. He has also been a model and actor with Develop Models Management since 2017 and Reel People Models & Talent since 2016. Additionally, he is a producer and former actor at The Dinner Detective, an interactive murder mystery dinner theater where actors blend with the audience during dinner before revealing their roles as part of the performance. His experience also includes serving as assistant retail sales manager at EXPRESS in 2019, account supervisor at United Allergy Services from 2013 to 2019, and he was featured on the reality TV series The Blox, season 8. Laying a solid educational foundation, he earned an Associate of Science in forensic science and technology from Iowa Western Community College in 2010, a Bachelor of Science in forensic biochemistry from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013, and a Master of Science in forensic science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2016.
Reflecting on his path, after losing his job in 2022, Mr. German reignited his childhood passion for fragrances, which began with mixing his parents’ perfumes and colognes to create unique blends. Encouraged by friends, he established Evodia Fragrances, which has since earned six awards, including the Omaha Choice Awards’ overall winner. Despite being a one-person business, Evodia tied with Ulta Beauty in the beauty supply store category. He has also partnered with indoor soccer teams to create custom-scented merchandise, such as player-themed air fresheners and team-designed fragrances. Additionally, he was named in Business Elites 40 Under 40, and the High Flyers 50 Global Icon Award. He attributes his success to dedication, perseverance, and a passion for his craft. Looking ahead, he envisions Evodia Fragrances becoming a widely recognized brand and creating an experiential space where customers can design their own fragrances and explore a multi-sensory environment. In his role as a producer, he plans to support The Dinner Detective’s growth by opening new locations and training aspiring actors.
