Vivek Kedage, founder and chief executive officer of Stealth Mode Biotech, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in biotechnology.
Dr. Kedage is lauded for his contributions to biochemistry. He has been the founder and chief executive officer of Stealth Mode Biotech, a pre-clinical-stage life sciences company based in San Francisco, since 2024. He has also been affiliated with LTZ Therapeutics Inc., an immunotherapy-focused global biotech company based in San Francisco, since 2022, beginning as a principal scientist and then as an associate director of biology and translational sciences in 2024.
An expert in cancer research and developing therapeutics for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, Dr. Kedage’s contributions began while developing groundbreaking concepts and a unique platform he launched as a postdoctoral fellow. Used for various cancer types, he has since applied it to LTZ Therapeutics, laying the foundation for historic therapeutic trials in the first quarter of 2025.
Dr. Kedage began his career as a graduate student associate at the Center for the Business of Life Sciences in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in 2015. Subsequently, he became a doctoral candidate in the biochemistry interdisciplinary graduate program at Indiana University Bloomington from 2011 to 2016 before being acquired as an associate instructor between 2012 and 2016. Dr. Kedage taught several courses on campus, including Human Anatomy and Physiology Laboratory and Biotechnology Writing and Communication. He also lectured in biochemistry at Manipal University College Malaysia in 2011.
Following his time in the classroom, Dr. Kedage spent another few years as a postdoctoral research fellow of molecular oncology at Genentech Inc. from 2017 to 2021, where he notably invented two antibody-based therapeutics platforms for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. He also worked as a scientist at MedGenome between 2021 and 2022.
Dr. Kedage received an undergraduate degree in general biology at Mangalore University in India in 2006, a master’s degree in medical biochemistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India in 2009 and a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry from Indiana University Bloomington in 2016. He also received a certificate in the business of life sciences from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Before college, Dr. Kedage honorably served as a cadet captain of the naval wing of the National Cadet Corps in India from 2003 to 2006.
Active in his professional community, Dr. Kedage is a member of the American Association for Cancer Research. Civically involved, he enjoys giving back through volunteer efforts, especially for military operations in India. As a seasoned researcher, particularly in clinical diagnostics nutrition antioxidants, Dr. Kedage has disseminated his findings by co-authoring over 15 scholarly articles.
Highlighting his many career accomplishments, Dr. Kedage received a Proficiency Prize for Academic Excellence from MGM College in 2005, a Third Place, Second Place and First Place Research Presentation Award from the Melvin and Bren Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center at Indiana University in 2014, 2015 and 2016, respectively, an Outstanding Associate Instructor Award from the department of molecular and cellular biochemistry from Indiana University in 2014, and a First Place Research Presentation Award from the department of urology and the Indiana Basic Urological Research Working Group from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2015. Moreover, Dr. Kedage received the Gill Velocity Fellowship from the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Indiana University in 2015.
Dr. Kedage attributes his success to collaborating with like-minded individuals, including those who implement his vision and positively impact human health. As he prepares for future accomplishments, he intends to leverage his extensive training and expertise training and experience to form a company focused on developing therapeutics through innovative research.
