Dr. Gu completed her undergraduate studies in her native country of China. She subsequently received a master’s degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in mathematics and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Gu’s advanced education has been pivotal to her success in science and technology, allowing her to merge her passion for mathematics with the industry.
Besides her primary career objectives, Dr. Gu has been serving as the program director for the National Science Foundation and remains actively engaged with the American Board of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.
