Prior to that, he served as a quality assurance manager at Celltex Therapeutics Corporation from 2017 to 2020, where he was instrumental in implementing quality systems that ensured compliance with regulatory standards. His tenure at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. saw him progress from a quality systems specialist II to III between 2015 and 2017, reflecting his growing expertise and leadership capabilities.

Mr. Ogunleye’s career began as a cell manufacturing associate at Dendreon in 2010, followed by roles at Hitachi Chemical Advanced Therapeutics Solutions, LLC, where he advanced from a quality assurance associate I to lead quality assurance specialist II from 2011 to 2014. His experience at Elite Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a quality and compliance systems coordinator in 2014 further solidified his foundation in quality assurance practices. Additionally, Mr. Ogunleye founded his own consulting business in 2020, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to helping clients manage relationships with manufacturers.

In addition to his primary roles, Mr. Ogunleye is active as an ambassador for admissions at the University of Houston Business School. He is also involved with organizations such as the Society of Quality Assurance and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society. His dedication to continuous learning and networking has been pivotal in his career success, which he attributes to having good mentors who guided him along the way.

Mr. Ogunleye initially pursued an education at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in biological sciences in 2008. He ultimately concluded his formal studies by graduating with a Master of Business Administration in private equity and investment banking from CT Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston in 2016. Mr. Ogunleye’s academic journey reflects a shift from an initial interest in technology to a passion for natural sciences, leading him to pursue a career in biotechnology.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Ogunleye is committed to civic engagement through volunteering with the Houston Food Bank and mentoring minority-owned businesses. His accolades include winning team recognition at the Greater Houston Case Competition from the Texas Medical Center Consulting Club in 2018. Mr. Ogunleye previously obtained an Achievement Award from Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2016.

In his personal life, Mr. Ogunleye enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures, reading books, scuba diving, driving fast cars, sports, competitive shooting, and raising his wonderful sons. He envisions contributing to regenerative medicine advancements and making them more accessible globally.
