Mohosin Sarkar, PhD, director of EvolveImmune Therapeutics, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Scientists for dedication, achievements, and leadership in therapeutics.
Dr. Sarkar, director of biotherapeutics development at EvolveImmune Therapeutics, has been instrumental in his leading role since 2022. Affiliated with the organization since 2020, he previously served as an associate director of antibody engineering. His expertise spans developing innovative biotherapeutics and, among other tasks, managing a small team of individuals focused on preclinical development programs. Leveraging his former success, Dr. Sarkar excelled at Pfizer as a senior principal scientist of biotherapeutics and oncology research and development from 2018 to 2020 after initially serving as a principal scientist in the same capacity between 2015 and 2018. Earlier in his career, Dr. Sarkar was part of The Scripps Research Institute as a senior researcher, dating back to 2012.
Highly educated in his respective field, Dr. Sarkar received a Bachelor of Science in applied chemistry and chemical technology from the University of Dhaka, a Master of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology from Kent State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy in biochemistry and molecular biology from The Ohio State University. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in chemical biology and cancer immunology at The Scripps Research Institute from 2010 to 2014, further advancing his expertise.
Beyond his primary career objectives, Dr. Sarkar is an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. As a seasoned researcher, he has published several scholarly articles and secured two U.S. patents with The Scripps Research Institute and one with Pfizer. Since joining EvolveImmune Therapeutics, Dr. Sarkar has developed an innovative platform that integrates conventional and asymmetric methods. This novel platform is more effective than other typical therapies and is a significant accomplishment in the field. Dr. Sarkar’s patience for research and dedication to science have been instrumental in his success. He also draws satisfaction from going to work each day and engaging with new and exciting projects.
