Mr. Quinn began his career at ExxonMobil Corporation in 2004 as a project manager in the United Kingdom, where he led major projects that supported the company’s operational objectives.
Between 2002 and 2004, Mr. Quinn worked as a technical consultant for various energy operators, engineering procurement contractors, and the Ireland Geological Survey’s marine division. This role allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector’s technical challenges and solutions. Mr. Quinn began his career as an engineer at Fugro, the world’s leading geo-data specialist, in 2000, where he honed his technical skills and laid the foundation for his future leadership roles.
Mr. Quinn’s academic background includes a bachelor’s degree from Anglia Ruskin University. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Science from the Camborne School of Mines at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, and a second Master of Science in mining geology from the same university. These academic achievements have provided Mr. Quinn with a strong technical foundation that supports his strategic decision-making and problem-solving abilities throughout his career.
In addition to his primary education, Mr. Quinn further enhanced his leadership capabilities by completing executive education at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010 and at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2014 to 2016.
