Dr. Susan M. Boyetchko is a Scientist for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, a renowned research and technology company. In her current capacity, she makes the most of her expertise in biopesticide technology, adeptly and meticulously conducts research, manages a research team, and works for the federal government’s research branch. With a wealth of knowledge and experience acquired over the course of a successful career, Dr. Boyetchko strives for excellence in her every endeavor.
Dr. Boyetchko earned a Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Alberta. She is the former president of the Canadian Weed Science Society, as well. She supports such worthy causes as United Way Worldwide, and in her spare time, she enjoys gardening.
Upon reflecting on a successful career, Dr. Boyetchko feels that she has been able to accomplish her goals due to hard work. She has also given presentations, and attended meetings at the national and international levels. She pinpoints the highlights of her career as having received patents within her field. She hopes to work on some new projects and would like to expand on them in the near future.
