In addition to his current profession, Mr. Fisk has been a consultant with long-range forecasting of southern California temperatures and precipitation since 1996.

Mr. Fisk maintains affiliation with the American Statistical Association and the American Meteorological Society, and he has been a prolific author, contributing 24 articles to professional journals throughout his career and penning various proceedings in the fields of meteorology and climatology. The recipient of a Master of Science in meteorology from the University of Wisconsin in 1984, Mr. Fisk has been recognized several times for his accomplishments. He has been selected for inclusion in several editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who in the World. Born in Minneapolis, MN, in 1946, Mr. Fisk enjoys reading, traveling, web publishing, and genealogy in his spare time. He developed his own website,, to document and analyze trends in weather patterns throughout the Minneapolis and St. Paul regions of Minnesota, in addition to cities such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland, Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco, and Seattle.
