Since her formative years, Dr. Jensen always had a keen interest in mathematics and the sciences. She went on to pursue a formal education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 1966 before going on to acquire a Doctor of Philosophy from Cornell University. Dr. Jensen furthered her education once more several years later by earning a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. In the years since then, Dr. Jensen has established herself as a renowned member in the science industry through her ceaseless hard work and determination to succeed in a notoriously difficult field.

In 1972, Dr. Jensen commenced her career as a senior scientist at the Instrumentation Laboratory in Lexington, Massachusetts. In the following years, she took on several additional titles with the company, including project manager, manager of reagent systems applications and senior research and development manager. She exited the company in 1996 under the title of scientific support and applications manager. In 1998, Dr. Jensen became the co-founder and president of Jensen Craft Enterprises. She remains there today, continuing to excel in her field despite officially beginning her retirement in 2012.

Outside of her primary ventures, Dr. Jensen found additional success as a contributing author to professional journals. She additionally worked on several books, including “Cell Culture and Its Application” and “Practical Tissue Culture Applications.” To remain aware of changes and advancements in her field, she maintains affiliation with the American Chemical Society, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and the American Philatelic Society. As a testament to her professional success, Dr. Jensen is featured in multiple editions of Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in Science and Engineering, and Who’s Who of American Women.
