Mr. Shaw began his career as a sales associate with The North Face, a VF Company, in Albertville from 2015 to 2016.

Mr. Shaw initially pursued an education at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in medical laboratory science. Over the course of his academic efforts, he was appointed as the Class of 2021 MLS Student President. Following these accomplishments, Mr. Shaw was certified as a medical laboratory scientist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologist.

Mr. Shaw has found further success with his volunteer work with Community Emergency Assistance Programs in 2018, Toys for Tots from 2013 to 2017 and Feed My Starving Children. A donor to the Salvation Army, he has been likewise affiliated with the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science since 2020. In light of his exceptional undertakings, Mr. Shaw was presented with the Omicron Sigma Award from the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science in 2021.

Mr. Shaw attributes his success to his approachable nature and his willingness to take advice from others in his field. Among the many achievements throughout his career, he is incredibly proud of receiving the Omicron Sigma Award, which reflected his dedication to furthering the efforts of himself and his peers while promoting the laboratory to the general public. Looking toward the future, Mr. Shaw hopes to continue thriving and growing within his respective fields in order to establish himself as a leader while devoting more attention to his community as well.
