Mr. Rennich’s prior experience at Microsoft includes roles as senior cloud solutions architect for advanced security on Azure from 2022 to 2023, cloud solutions architect on Azure from 2019 to 2022, technology solutions professional on Azure from 2017 to 2019, service reliability engineer from 2015 to 2017, and service design engineer from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in his career, he served as a senior support escalation engineer for Exchange at Microsoft from 2011 to 2013, senior IT consultant and systems integrator at Eide Bailly LLP from 2006 to 2011, technical support analyst at CompuCom Systems from 2001 to 2006, and infrastructure engineer at General Electric from 2001 to 2004.
In light of his impressive undertakings, Mr. Rennich was honored with Microsoft’s Platinum Club Award and the Making a Difference Award for Small, Medium, Corporate, and Digital Sales, both in 2023. He laid a solid educational foundation, earning an associate degree in computer science and psychology from Bismarck State College, coursework in psychology at the University of Montana, and a bachelor’s degree in management and computer information systems from Park University. Reflecting on his path, he takes great pride in his contributions to supporting customers, notably during the COVID-19 pandemic when he helped facilitate small business loans, enabling clients to apply for critical support. In addition to this major initiative, he has led smaller projects, including the techno sim solution and comprehensive security solutions for customers. Within Microsoft, he has taken on roles in mentoring, teaching leadership, and outreach, with his efforts recently recognized by the Century Maker and Platinum Club Awards.
Mr. Rennich attributes his success to authenticity and serving as a role model.
