With four decades of experience, Mr. Mateola has established a successful career in information technology, consulting services, business development, and strategic planning. Since 2024, he has excelled as chief information officer and managing partner at Stratevora, where he drives IT strategy solutions for businesses and has contributed to generating approximately $174 million in revenue. His previous roles include head of IT delivery and architecture at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Vontier Corporation, from 2023 to 2024, head of corporate applications and architecture at Vontier Corporation from 2021 to 2022, head of solution delivery and architecture at ACN Opportunity LLC from 2015 to 2021. senior director of IT at American Credit Acceptance from 2013 to 2015, and principal enterprise architect at Walt Disney World from 2002 to 2013, where he earned the Adaptability and Flexibility Award.

Mr. Mateola actively contributes to the field through authorship in professional journals and leadership roles. He currently serves as president of SIM Research Triangle Park and as a mentor with the IT Senior Management Forum Management Academy since 2021. He volunteers as a digital leaders council member for Apparo, supporting technology solutions for nonprofits since 2019, and previously chaired the DEI committee for SIM Research Triangle Park from 2022 to 2023. His community involvement includes volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2018, participation in the Charlotte Digital Leaders Council, and membership in the Waxhaw Citizens Police Academy.  A dedicated leader in faith-based initiatives, he has also served as an ordained minister, pastor, and founding member of a local church in Orlando, Florida, from 2007 to 2013, and as lead deacon and ordained minister in Dallas, Texas. He is also an executive member of the International LEAP Network as of 2024.

Laying an educational foundation, Mr. Mateola completed coursework in computer science at the University of London and earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Lagos in 1986. He is currently pursuing an executive Master of Business of Administration in international business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. His credentials include ITIL 4 Strategic Leader certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2021, TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group in 2011, and completion of the Generative AI for Business Transformation program at Purdue University.

Reflecting on his path, Mr. Mateola takes great pride in managing architectural initiatives for both Disney Cruise Line and Parks and Resorts, playing a pivotal role in the Destination Disney initiative. His efforts supported the technological launch of Disney Cruise Line’s Sucrose ships and guided architecture teams at the segment level for Parks and Resorts. Additionally, he has excelled in mentoring global teams, fostering strategic thinking, and encouraging creative problem-solving, earning praise from colleagues for his ability to develop future leaders. He attributes his success to the resilience and determination shaped by his Nigerian heritage. He emphasizes aligning personal values with professional actions and is deeply committed to making a meaningful impact on others.

In the coming years, Mr. Mateola aims to be recognized for his thought leadership, leveraging his expertise in strategic technology placements to drive value across industries, particularly health care. He also envisions sharing success stories and insights through public speaking, podcasts, and publishing, using his ministry background to engage diverse audiences and inspire leadership. Additionally, he plans to expand his management consulting business, focusing on mentoring and coaching to help organizations develop their talent, and hopes to dedicate more time to ministry, guiding churches in spiritual leadership and mission alignment.
