Mr. Arumugam’s earlier tenure included roles as a senior manager and architect at IBM, starting in 2009. During this period, he led teams in designing advanced analytics platforms and played a pivotal role in implementing large-scale data solutions for global clients. One of his most significant achievements occurred during an assignment in China, where he collaborated on a project with a client who did not speak English. Despite language barriers, Mr. Arumugam successfully navigated these challenges by employing an interpreter when available and utilizing computer-based translation tools.
Mr. Arumugam began his career in information technology in India in 2001, laying the foundation for more than two decades of expertise in data and analytics architecture in the U.S., as well as artificial intelligence. His commitment to continuous learning and adaptability has enabled him to achieve a high level of proficiency in these fields.
Highly educated, Mr. Arumugam earned a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Madurai Kamaraj University in India in 1998 and a Master of Computer Applications in computer technology from Gandhigram Rural Institute in India in 2001. His professional credentials are further bolstered by numerous certifications from IBM and his designation as a certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master through Scaled Agile Inc.
