In her current capacity as a scientist II, Ms. Sylvester is responsible for reviewing completed laboratory documentation and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) data entries for accuracy and compliance. Ms. Sylvester has dedicated herself to learning its specifics to achieve a fully paperless system. This accomplishment stands as a testament to her technical acumen and dedication to operational excellence.
Before joining Fresenius Kabi AG, Ms. Sylvester gained valuable industry experience at Northland Laboratories (now Matrix Sciences) in 2014 as a microbiologist. During this time, she developed foundational skills in laboratory science that would serve as the basis for her later success in quality control roles.
Ms. Sylvester’s academic background included earning a bachelor’s degree in biology from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. Her education provided her with both theoretical knowledge and practical laboratory skills essential for her career progression.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Sylvester maintains active involvement in civic-minded organizations and community initiatives. She is a donor to Cop on Top and has held several leadership positions within the Order of the Eastern Star, including serving as past matron and former worthy matron since 2014. These roles reflect Ms. Sylvester’s commitment to service and leadership outside of the workplace.
