After retirement from General Electric in 2008, he continues to make significant contributions as a technical consultant at Materials Consulting Bend, where he provides invaluable insights and guidance on various projects.

In 2014, he served as a temporary senior scientist and consultant at a start-up company, leveraging his vast knowledge and experience to propel the company’s research and development initiatives forward.
